We made it to Tocoa, Honduras! After 20 hours of travel we've arrived and look forward to a good night's rest. Tomorrow we go to the Salem Baptist Church and begin our work. Look forward to seeing everyone! Praise to God for our safe travels.

Goodbye USA, Hello Honduras!

We're on our way! So anxious to see our Honduran friends!

We're in Atlanta waiting to depart to San Pedro Sula

As we wait to depart for Honduras, I wanted to share with you the link on the bottom right corner of the blog of the streaming photos from a previous trip. You can click on the link and it will open to a new page to better view the photos. Each day I hope to load additional pictures to share our activities with our Honduran bothers and sisters. Even though you're not here with us I hope you will be able to experience a small portion of the blessings our mission team experiences while we are here in Honduras doing God's work. Praise God!

The long day of traveling has begun.

It's 4:15 a.m. and the mission team has gathered at the church parking lot to begin it's long day of travel to Tocoa, Honduras. We are flying from Raleigh to Atlanta and then from Atlanta to San Pedro Sula, where we will meet up with the Texas mission team. We are due to arrive in San Pedro Sula around 11:30 a.m. (1:30 p.m. EST), where we will also meet up with Juan Castro who is our liaison in Honduras. Juan is such a blessing to our efforts in Honduras! Hopefully, we can pickup our two rental vans and be on the road by 12:00 - 12:30, but one thing we have learned is that no matter how hard we try to get things done quickly, like we do in the USA, we are quickly reminded that we are on "Honduran time", which means things move allot slower! Once we are on the road, we have a 5 1/2 hour trip across Honduras to our final destination of Tocoa, Honduras.
