Back in the USA..just landed in Atlanta

Just landed in Atlanta and made it through customs, to find out our flight had been delayed. But it's nice to be back on US soil! Praise The Lord for our wonderful mission trip to Tocoa, Honduras!

Heading home

With mixed emotions we head to the airport to begin our travels home. God has blessed us with a wonderful week with our Honduran brothers and sisters. God has used us here to do His work and we look forward to our next trip. Until the next time may God continue to watch over our Honduran family whom we love very much!

Breakfast at Juan's mother-in-law's Resturant on the sidewalk

The last day tradition while in El Progresso is to have breakfast tortilla at Juan's mother-in-law's sidewalk resturant. As you the food was delicious!

Thursday in El Progresso, Honduras

Yesterday evening after arriving in El Progresso we did souvenir shopping where we looked for items to take home as a remembrance of our time here as well as taking home items for family.

We also had the blessing of visiting Juan Castro's church and sharing fellowship and praising God for His blessings in our lives.

We've arrived in El Progresso

After a 5 1/2 drive across Honduras we are in El Progresso. The first thing we did was stop at Pizza Hut, which by everyone on the teams opinion, it's better than the American Pizza Huts.

We checked into our hotel and will leave shortly to do a little souvenir shopping. Looking forward to heading to the airport tomorrow, to begin our trip home!

Dedication and saying goodbye

Before our departure we gathered together with our Honduran brothers and sisters in Christ to give thanks and praise to God, who makes all things possible and without His love and grace none of what is accomplished here in His name would be possible. Praise God! We dedicated the work that was done this week to God's glory and prayed that He would use the school to accomplish His will in the Salem Baptist community.

Saying goodbye is always difficult and this time was no exception, with plenty of hugs and tears shed we thanked God for His blessings! Until the next time we meet, our Honduran amigos will be in our daily thoughts and prayers and especially in our hearts! Hasta la próxima vez que nos veamos que Dios te bendiga y te cuide mis amigos hondureños!

Wednesday's activities annual balloon battle!

Each year we let the Honduran children and our children have a very lively balloon battle, they have a great time in getting everyone wet and even the bystanders!
